Gareth Benton

Gareth has been leading the King’s Church since 1994. He is married to Audrey and has three children Abigail, Ella and Elijah. Gareth loves being creative with his preaching, seeking to explain God’s truth in new ways.

Amba Keeble

Amba Keeble: wife to Rich, Mum to Bethany. She came to Portsmouth in 1997 for university. Amba has been at King’s ever since, where she spends her time overseeing the youth ministry, serving on the Leadership Team and singing in the worship team. Miraculously, she still finds time for regular trips to the 10th Hole for coffee and cake!!

Carly Broomfield

Carly has worked for Solent Youth for Christ for 2 years, which is based in King’s Church. She has been involved in running the Phat Cafe which is an after school cafe on a Tuesday and Wednesday for 11-15’s and she will be running Rock Solid which is a Friday night youth group also for 11-15’s, from September 2006.

Jon Butler

Jon has been a member of The King’s Church since August 2000, and in that time has been involved in many parts of church life and activities. From September 2004 until June 2005, Jon worked for the Church voluntarily on a ‘year out’ scheme called The King’s Academy. Jon is now responsible for the Leadership and organising of The King’s Early Service once a month.

Anne Belcher

Anne has been a part of King’s since October 2003. She is a sister to her brother and a daughter to her parents and tells everyone her boyfriend is Jesus! She is passionate about God and the amazing things he has done in her life and just loves to tell people all about him! Anne is a dedicated teacher and in her spare time she loves to support Portsmouth Football Club!
